TD-6V

Post by N »

Hey, i just bought the Roland TD-6v with 6 Drum triggers. I have a problem. the problem is that i play really fast on the toms and the snare when i start playing faster i do not do hard hits is there a way to make the trigger pick up smaller hits with out picking up other drums. when i start going to fast the trigger cannot pick up some hits, making it sound funny. what setting in the module mess with in the module to fix all of this.

Read you manual it will tell you how to add, or take away sensitivity from the pads. Also you can even keep the triggers from firing from other pad's vibrations, all that is in your manual.

If I got your problem right you should change a velocity curve on pads to exponential ("C"-shaped) and then to increase a sensitivity a bit.
