Cube 30x Noise

I've recently purchased a cube 30x and think it is a gret amp, however it does seem to have a lot of noise (hum and buzzing). Although I suspect the problem could be my guitar (single coils) I can't help thinking that the amp could also be a factor, I can't remeber my guitar being as noisy when used with other amps. On both the clean and lead channels the noise is particulary intrusive at anything other than very low volumes. Can any Cube 30x owners advise if this could be a fault with the amp.
