MC 505:tripling a rhythm in a lengthened pattern?

Hoping to find a Groovebox expert. I am working on a part with a 4 bar rhythm. I tripled the part to 12 measures to allow for some synth pads to fully decay, and that leaves 2/3 of the pattern without any rhythm. Is there a way to copy the original rhythm part and paste it into the blank spots or do I have to program each drumbeat in by hand?
