Change the polarity of the damper pedal?

Hi, there: one more question about the VR-09. Turns out that each pedal I plug into it has the wrong polarity, so that it only sustains when I take my foot off the pedal. I've tried restarting with the pedal in but no dice. I can't seem to find a menu option to change it, only how it's assigned. Is there a way to reverse the polarity on this board?
