VR09 MIDI with Logic Pro - no sound?

Hi all,

I love the onboard grand piano sounds on my VR-09 but am very bad at playing piano, so for the purposes of recording a song, I decided to program the piano part using Logic's Piano Editor and send it via MIDI to the Roland VR-09. What I would like is for the Roland VR-09 to play the part using the onboard sounds (and onboard effects like reverb, compressors, etc.) so that I can record them through the output (which goes into my audio interface, back into Logic). However, I've tried this and am unable to get any sound, either through the phones out port or in Logic itself. What am I doing wrong?

I have the MIDI IN Mode set to "Keyboard Mode".

This is my chain. Logic Pro -> Steinberg UR44 MIDI Out -> Roland VR-09 Midi In -> Roland VR-09 Output -> Steinberg UR44 Input -> Logic Pro. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!
