I have songs in DR 880 that I'd like to export as midi files. I can't proceed past the driver installation step. DR880_USBDriver107.pkg from the Roland website during installation says "installation failure contact software manufacturer". I tried on a different Mac computer and even if "installation is successful" i can't find the driver on the disk, the software (LIVE) doesn't recognize the drum machine, etc. So it looks like I have a problem with a driver. Anybody can help me with this? Thank you!
my steps are USB mode STORAGE, DR 880 is on and pugged into USB port on my Mac, run a driver...

Have you tried to download it from Roland's Japan site?
It may sound weird but I couldn't get an SP-808 .exe file to work when I downloaded it from the Roland U.S. site. I downloaded the file from the Japan website and it worked! Aaaaaaand it was an upgraded version! Bonus!
