I'm a guitar player, and with the new firmware 2 release, I'm hoping I can get a midi foot controller to work with the RC-505, which seems possible.
My specific requirement is as follows :
Record into Track 1
then, record into Track 2, but without Track 1 playing.
next, record into Track 3, but without Track 1 and 2 playing.
After that, I may trigger Track 1 , 2 or 3 as required. I do not require overdub feature. The idea is, from the start, I would record Track 1 (verse A chords), Track 2 (verse B chords) and Track 3 (chorus chords), and I would trigger any of these parts as the song goes.
I'm able to do the above with Ditto x4 looper but it's limited to 2 parts only.
EDIT : After learning it more from the manual, it's basically Single Track Mode, but in Recording. I've seen the RC 300 demo of Single Track Mode, where starting one track shall stop another. But nowhere in the manual says the same about recording.
So basically it's Recording one Single Track (and stopping playback of other single track).
Can the RC-505 Loop Station do this (RC 300 user pls help) ?
Re: Can the RC-505 Loop Station do this (RC 300 user pls hel
Yup, possible - I've got this info from other contact.
