RD64 top octave key noise is different?

Post by radicalgel »

I'm just wondering if it's normal that the keys striking the keybed, when the keyboard is off, sound different in the lower octaves than they do on the top octave. I've linked to a video demonstrating this behaviour. I'm wondering if this is because the keyboard is indeed graded, so the top keys will naturally feel lighter, or is this a problem?

I don't know if this is the reason you are not getting any response here but your link to the YouTube video isn't working.

Hey thanks for checking. Just realised that this goes away when it's on a stand. I keep mine on a table so I think it resonates & exaggerates it. Anyway the keys work fine so i guess I'll just leave it.
