Roland TR-8 audio over USB too loud

Hi all. The Roland tr-8 audio over USB is too loud. I am routing each individual channel in Ableton Live (11 audio tracks) but if i set the kick fader to the max, it clips. Is there a way to reduce the output gain ?

I have tried using a utility device to reduce the input, but no luck. The utility is only applied after the recording has been done.
