I am trying to have my TR8 as the master clock and the microkorg as the slave, so that the microkorg's arpeggiator is synced to my TR8. The image explains my settings and cable config. Any changes on the TR8s tempo has no effect on the Microkorg, with its tempo LED not flashing as well when the TR8s tempo is adjusted.
If syncing these two instruments via midi is possible, am I doing something wrong?
