changing the midi channel on the RD64

Post by BazMitchell »

Hello everyone

I have an RD64 piano which I use with a JV1010 synthesiser. I can't work out how to get midi channel 10 on the RD64, or even how to change the midi channel. I would be grateful if anyone can help.
Best wishes

Step 1: "Hold down the [A. PIANO] button while turning the power on. The RD-64 will operate as a MIDI controller keyboard with the same functionality as the Roland A-88. In Controller mode, no sound is produced from the RD-64’s internal sound generator. Also, nothing will happen when you press the [TONE SELECT], [TONE VARIATION], or [REVERB] buttons. For details on using the RD-64 as a MIDI controller keyboard, refer to the PDF manual for the Roland A-88."(Roland RD-64 Owner's Manual)

Step 2: "Press [FUNCTION] button so it’s lit. You can change the MIDI channel by pressing the appropriate key."(Roland A-88 Owner's Manual)
