Sound Output

Hi Guys

Hope eveything is great with you all

Well i would like to clarify something

I am using a X6 and a Mixer (Soundcraft)

When i lisitn to my keyboad on the phones output I get a very good quality of sound and the tones are really good

But when I take a output from the left and right output I dont get the same sound

Can someone explain this to me when I listin to the same sound on the mixer headphones it doesnt sound the same.

I hope someone can enlightin me with my query

Check your mixers EQ settings are neutral. Also check the pan positions for each channel. If you are using a mono channel each for left and right output, then the pan settings should be set to be full left on the left channel and full right on the right channel - otherwise you will get reduced output etc.

Thanks for the reply mathew

But can your let me know about the cables that i need to use

I guess it could be the cables as i have been using stereo cables.

One stereo cable from the left and one from the right into the mono channels of the mixer but i still dont get the right sound.

Please help me with this as i want to know the right cables and have the right connection so that I dont loose on quality.
