Hmm... I've been playing bass for years. Also have a Fantom-X6 that I have owned for a couple years. Today it dawned on me that I might be able to increase my diversity to a point I have not previously considered.
I was wondering would a Roland GK-3B allow me to connect my bass directly to my F-X6 and use it as a synth controller? Anyone know? Anyone here actually doing this?
Thanks,
Craig

Re: Roland GK Guitar/Bass synth pickup
The GK-3B is simply the pickup. You will need an appropriate interface to convert the signals to MIDI, which can then be directed into the Fantom.
Compatible GK-3B interfaces/synths include the V-BASS, GK-20, or the simple GI-20.

Thanks for the clarification
OK. That clarifies things for me. Guess there won't be a union between my bass and keyboard anytime soon.

You could of course connect your bass to the audio input and sample your bass into an audio track in your sequence.
But you probably already do this.
