MicroBR-Editing in MP3 mode

Post by salsero »

Can anyone suggest a way to delete a section of music recorded in MP3 mode. I'm trying to delete the first few bars of a song and thought I could select the section of music with the A-B button but then what???

I wasn't sure if I could do this on the MicroBR or do I need to edit it in Garage Band or some other software? Is it also possible to transfer it to the Normal mode and then edit it there?

Thank-you,
salsero

I don't think it is possible to edit in MP3 mode. You could however import the MP3 file to "normal" multitrack mode and then edit it normally. To do this follow this procedure:

1. In the first screen, the song screen, press UTILITY

2. Press TR2 (TRK)

3. Press the right cursor (>) one time

4. Press TR1 (IMP)

5. Choose your MP3 file by pressing + or - and then press TR5 (NEXT)

6. Choose the track you want the MP3 file to be saved to and then press TR2 (TIM)

7. Press Next
