Midi problem between Korg Triton and Roland Fantom FA76 ?

Post by CJ »

Hi all,

hope someone can help me here with my sequencing midi problem.

I already tried (I guess) all the midi-settings (enable and disable ctrl-chng, prg chng etc.)in the Triton and in the Fantom, but somehow the following thing keeps happening:

When I enable ctrl chng in the Triton, then after every 'move' I make on the Triton (i.e. pressing startbutton or locate etc.etc.) then all the settings like volume on the Fantom midi-channels/-tracks go back to the level of 127, while I already had them 'balanced'.

When I disable 'ctrl chng' then the settings of the Fantom midichannels don' t change BUT then I also can not midi-play the Fantom on the Triton with the Triton-pitchbender, it does not get the message or so.

Mhhhhh, i hope the case is clear enough and if not let me know.

I also checked Receive en Transmit-settings etc., but nothing helped.

Can anybody help me ? Is it a Triton-setting I forgot or a Fantom setting ? Or a general midi something ?

Btw, I don't have this problem when I MIDI-connect the Triton to my old Roland JV80.

Thank you !
