data backup on VS-1824-question about

I recently purchased on ebay a new VS-1824,the only question i have,(because i don't have alot of experience with VS-1880's or 1824's)If i back up data onto a CD does it have to be a 2 track master,or will it save all of my tracks-1-10?Thanks if you can help me with it,i have no manual for the 1824,i could hookup a scsi,these things are brand new to me.
