I've had this unit for ages, and I'm still tearing my hair out. I've poured over both the Owners Manual, and the User Guide, and have still not figured out what I need to do. It's pretty simple. I'm working alone. At most, I record a guitar and voice at the same time. I just want to record signals to a track with internal effects applied (insert) as I record them (not later, during mix down). I'd even be happy doing a direct record to track of the same number as the input channel. I prefer using the mouse and a VGA monitor for all the work. Does anyone have straightforward, step by step, instructions for accomplishing this? I don't need to know why I'm doing something, or learn the internal workings...I just want to know what to click, and what drag where in order to record something.
I appreciate ANY help anyone can give me.
Thanks
Ken
