advice on bouncing please

Br 900 new user here, I have noticed in the line feature that alows you to record tracks clean with the ability to add efects before you bounce down. Would this be a better way to record tracks? I am not sure you can change settings after you bounce down. Is it true you share all eq and effect settings on your bounce track without the ability to edit? Also could someone explaine the master feature in the line effects. I found that after I hit utility button and then hit the curser and the locate. Thanks you guys.
