Hi, first post here. Long-time Roland user. I started with an XP50, then went laptop & virtual with Edirol PCR-M80, now on my second A800 Pro.

I'm pretty sure I updated my A800's firmware a few years ago. I remember a .mid file and a midi player, and having to set a tiny slide switch on the bottom of my A800.

My firmware version says 1150 on the LCD but recently another A800 owner mentioned he had 1200 on his. I have searched the usual spots, both domestic and foreign Roland sites (Europe and Japan), for any firmware update files with no success – though it could easily be my error.

Does anyone know about this 1200 version and what it might add or fix? And where I might get a hold of it? I'm really only curious, as my A800 isn't acting up and I don't use any "keyboard sets" (where I see one blatant bug, but it doesn't affect me). Thanks!
