I want to listen to instruments from colossus while playing the sh-201.
Unfortunately, I am unable to turn off the sound from the sh-201, so i hear two instruments instead of 1.
How do i do it?
Here is how i have set up my system:
I listen to the sh-201 using headphones straight into the back of the sh-201.

Looking at the bottom picture in the link above, you can see a pedal button on the left.
The sh-201 is connected to the computer through:
1) USB - next to that pedal hole
2) midi in/out - the 2 ports next to the usb port
I don't properly know how to hook up the sh-201. Maybe i am wrong about using all those connections...

Re: sh-201 and Colossus - no local off button
As far as I know, connecting the SH through the USB port is enough... But that probably hasn't got anything to do with your problem.
Have you tried to set the Amp knob to zero in both Upper and lower tones?

Re: sh-201 and Colossus - no local off button
There is a local off switch. Look in the manual. It is a series of button presses to get to it. Not too complicated and easy to memorize in case you need to switch quickly. Sorry I can't provide you the exact button presses, as I'm in "work hell" right now.

Thanks, Igglethorpe!
Here is the answer:
1.
Hold down the CANCEL button and
press the TAP button
2.
Press the PRESET button and then press
the BANK D button
3.
Press the NUMBER 2 button
Lit:
ON,
Dark:
OFF
4.
Press the CANCEL button
So obvious, really. Why didn't I think of that?!
