Will the 64-bit Vista driver ever be released?

Post by Kaijin »

I just bought a new computer and it has Vista Home 64-bit. I noticed the most recent driver is for the 32-bit and therefore I can't use my keyboard anymore...is there going to be a fix for this?

Thanks,

They recently released the 64 bit Vista drivers for the Fantom G and V-Synth GT, so let's hope so:

I have emailed Roland support though in the hope they'll get so many requests that they give up and create one.
You can use the synth as a usb midi controller in 64 bit with the software of your choice, but that's about all I've managed to do (basically turned a $600 synth into a $100 M-Audio controller).
I run 32 bit on a separate partition for the SH-201 though, so that could be one workaround for now.
