Any information for this kind of problem ?

Hi,

Bought a SH-201 used, everything "seems" to be working ok except the following :

- The left side panel (tempo, tap, arp, rec, octave and portamento) buttons seems to be messed up somehow... pressing one button will make other works etc...

- Some lights on the board don't light up, or do but not always... for example preset light up while initializing so the led works, but afterwards never light up... same for some selection like LFO1 destination "selection" lights.

If used through the editor, everything works, used as a synth unit works also, except for the above.

Could this be because of a faulty battery (internal), or ribbon cables, dust, etc ? How complicated is it to open the sh-201 and do some clean up considering I'm no expert in such things however, I have opened my share of computers and know some basics of electronics and electricity ?
