Midi Device not set up correctly. Help?

Please help me! I'm using a macbook pro with the Librarian/Editor software that came with the SH-201. When I plug my usb A to B in and try to use the software I get the message "MIDI Devices are not set up correctly" I have tried to set up where input and output are both on the sh-201 (which is my only option other than none) through is set none, and device has been set on 17. Editor software isn't picking up my synth basicly. Can anyone offer a solution? Thank you.

Maybe other device connected to your comp is running under ID 17

Try factory reset

Try shorter usb cable
