Crashes: Blinking Lights

Hey Everyone,
I'm new to this forum and just getting in computer music. I lent my SH201 to a 'friend' and he gave it back to me broken (I don't need friendship advice - I'm no longer following him on Twitter and certainly won't ever buy him a beer).

It boots up fine and goes through it's flashy lights. It works for about 2mins and then stops any output and the Bank Numbers flash red and green.

Any ideas how I can fix this? I have done a factory reset but no joy.

My only wonder is he has fried it using a wrong voltage transformer
