Ok so this is my 3rd SH201 synth i own for the last 5 years , kept selling thme but hope this one is a keeper. I love the dirtiness of the sound but can't find info on the issue all of them have .

Basically higher notes seem to have a bit crush effect like going gradually from 44.1khz to 22khz the higher note you play.

Are there any fixes for that on the net ?

this only thing is slightly annoying and would rather not see it as a 'feature' :) in the synth.

Could be your speakers??
I was using KRK's and for both my SH201 and VR09 in my home studio.
After switching to the new Harbinger vari 12's the sound is great !!
So much more clarity.

16 bit 44.1 Khz is CD quality. Bit crush would take the 16 bits down to 12, 8, or lower bits. Human beings can effectively hear frequencies from 20 hz to 20 Khz.

I don't believe what you're hearing is "bit crush" or a difference between 44.1 to 22 Khz.

there are differnt thigns that might come together.

what do you use, USB sound, or normal line out on the back of the Synth?
distorted sound can result from output level of the patch.
output level of the master.
input gain of the speakers or the PC is too high.

my sh has a brilliant sound.

I know you guys make everything even more.
