newby...portamento by time?

Happy so far with my SH201 but is there a way to get a Portamento set by fixed time ?(no matter what interval is to be played).
Probably the only way would be to play it via MIDI from a DAW...

There is only one indication in the user manual : the use of NUMBER 1~8.
Juste consider that :
NUMBER 5 : 0,9 sec
NUMBER 8 : 3,5 sec
