Is it possible to use the Sonic Cell as an audio interface to allow me to play soft synths (as well as some onboard Sonic Cell sounds) via my laptop, thus channeling the output via USB to the Sonic Cell, then from the Sonic Cell to my monitoring rig?
I suspect it is, but what's the latency like?

Yes, that is what the other half of the SC is. The latency is not the greatest (but not bad either). You can also record the Sonic Cell engine back in to your DAW via USB (so it makes the Fantom X engine like a VSTi).
