Hi can i use my sonic cell as a midi interface?
I want to trigger from my keybord controller through the sonic cell and to trigger virtual synths like reason.
If i plug my keyboard controller straight into my laptop to trigger sounds in reason i get unreasonable latency so what Im wondering is perhaps i could use the sonic cell or do i need to buy a separate midi interface?
thanks for your time.
SONIC CELL AS MIDI INTERFACE?
Re: SONIC CELL AS MIDI INTERFACE?
The Sonic Cell IS
1. Fantom X synth engine (with some G goodness)
2. USB Midi interface
3. 2in/2out ASIO USB Audio Interface
4. Effects Processor for externally connected gear (other synths, microphone- with or without phantom power, hi-z guitar input).
5. MIDI playback device via USB key (does not need to be connected to a PC)
6. Audio playback device via USB key (will play back playlists with MP3, WAVE or AIFF)
7. VSTi hardware device (will look and act like a VST instrument on your computer). You can even record the Fantom Synth backin to your DAW without any patch cables
