Sonic Cell Editor and Cubase 5

My first post, so first of all, hello to everyone!

I'm having problems with the Editor and Cubase 5.
I'm sure my config is OK as everything works fine using Cubase SX3.

However, when I use the Editor virtual intrument with Cubase 5, I am unable to change patches using the drop down menus. Another side effect is that the 'File, Edit and Setup menus dont work.

One thing to note is that when the VM starts up, there seems to be a hang and the 'Updating' and 'Now getting data' dialogues dont appear.

Midi thru is set to on in the DAW and from what I can make out my cubase 5 config is identical to SX3.

Perhaps I am being a numbnutz, or maybe there is a known issue with Cubase 5 I dont know of? Any help appreciated.

Fixed! Reinstalled and working OK now

can u replicate the steps?
i have the same problem and reinstall don't work so maybe specific approach will.?!?!?!

Simply uninstalled and then reinstalled the editor.

However, I have found that if I install the synth ediror after it breaks again :/ Most curious..

Anybody else had similar problems with Cubase 5?
