Midnam for MOTU's Digital Performer

Post by Shampen »

I really need a midnam for Roland's SonicCell, I couldn't find one and MOTU referred me to Cherry Picker to create my own. I'm unsure how to use Cherry Picker, I'm a musician and only marginally computer literate. I think that I set the thing up righ,t but in order to complete it I need some basic information i.e. User (User Group), PR-A through G, and XRS-1 & 2, performance, Oh my head is spinning, anyone know how to set up the parameters?, If I manage to create a midnam file for this module, I will of course share it with everyone, or if some cleverbrainiac has one please share it with me. Any information that I can get would be helpful.

What info are you looking for exactly? Maybe post a snipet of the format it needs. Have you looked thorugh the Sonic Cell's manual for the midi implementation. Also, it might be worth looking at a Cakewalk ins file the Sonic Cell (you can find them at the Sonic Cell user group at Yahoo Groups FYI) in a text editor to see the numbers they use (it might be the same info you need).

Hello Shampen,
Go to: http://www.rolandus.com and create an account (it's free). Then click on the "R" logo to the top-right of the screen and look for the "patch script builder" link.
Select what you need from the dropdown menu.
Hope this helps
