I'm thinking of purchasing a SonicCell, primarily for playing back audio or MIDI files in live performances but I would also like to use it as a sound module and audio interface with Ableton Live 8.
In that respect, what do users make of its latency? Does it perform satisfactorily for a sound module and audio interface connected to a software DAW?
Currently, I use an Edirol FA-66 FireWire audio interface but, if the SonicCell did the job adequately, I might sell the FA-66. I'm using in a 32-bit Windows 7 system running an Intel Core2 Duo E6600 processor with 4GB RAM.

SonicCell and latency - how well does it perform?
Re: SonicCell and latency - how well does it perform?
Yes, it was almost comprable to my X-Station.
But- I sold my Sonic Cell so I can't offer any more advise (but I am a happy Omnisphere/Trillian owner now!)

You mean that as a good thing, don't you? Just checking.
