Sonic sell and TWO controllers?

Hello all,

I'm wondering if I can use the Sonic Cell with two controllers. I usually run the SC into my Nord Stage, and control it that way. However, I'm doing a one off 80's thing, and I've got a Lucina that I'd like to use to control the SC as well. Is there any way that I can have both connected so I can switch between them whenever I need to?

To connect two controllers you need to merge the MIDI data.

Stage \
merge -> SC
Lucina AX-09 /

You can do this with a MidiSolutions box.

Or a laptop using MidiOx.

With just the gear you mention I don't think you can merge.

If you just want to switch between them you can use a DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) switch.

You need to switch pins 5 and 4
5 pin Midi plug
-------2
----5------ 4
3--------------1

Had to use --- for spacing

Yes, I meant run the Stage into the SC, sorry.

Thanks for the suggestions, so I would basically get something like this:

and connect the Stage and Lucina to the box, and the box to the SC?

Yep, two keyboards in and the out to the SC.
Put the two keyboards on different Midi channels and the SC in Performance mode and play both keyboards at once 8)
