Hi --
One thing I've had a hard time nailing down. I have a controller (AKAI's MPK61) that can send and receive MIDI via usb. I'm wondering if I can use the Sonic Cell's USB to send and receive MIDI if the device on the other end is not a computer, but rather a controller like the MPK61?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Mike

Re: Can a controller control the Sonic Cell via a usb interf
No, the USB connection doesn't work like that.
But according to the online manual the MPK61 has Midi In and Out sockets that you can connect to the SC Midi In and Out.
If you are new to all this, just remember OUT from one device goes to the IN of the other.
All the best

Just to add on that, for the MPK61 to control the SC you just need a MIDI cable connecting the MPK MIDI OUT to the SC MIDI IN.rcraven wrote:No, the USB connection doesn't work like that.
