Hi, I get to step 10g and get "Windows was unable to install your SonicCell" "Windows could not find driver software for your device." and I only have an option to close the window which brings me back to the Properties/ipdate driver box..
Any idea why I'm not getting to step 10h ?

I have exactly the same problem as Harris, windows won't find the driver. It doesn't look like or automatically replace the old .INF (when copied and pasted) either.

EDIT: you must get rid of the .txt extension of the file as the type is .txt. It has to be of the INF type. If you can't see the extension follow this for example: http://quehow.com/how-to-change-a-file- ... /4450.html

It still works even under Creators Update 1703. You just have to do it one more time after updating. You don´t have to disable secure boot. But it just works on 64-Bit, as TESTSIGNING has always been a 64-Bit feature only.

Yes!! Finally!!

This is the answer for Windows 10
Note...follow exactly as it says but for a Sonic Cell it is NOT called a .inf file that you need to change the text in. It’s the
RDIF1070 Setup Information file.
Open it and scroll down to the text you need to change.
Bar that everything else is the same as written.
My Sonic Cell lives on.

timclement

I stumbled on this thread and the wonderful work you have done on the driver. Thanks for that and for sharing here.

The link [https://www.dropbox.com/s/eb735kg5ib5te ... 0.INF?dl=0 ] to your fix no longer works.
Is your fix still available somewhere - it will be greatly appreciated.

I find the samples in SonicCell better than most of DAW plugins....
