RD800 stuck in 'Update' mode

Hello Folks,

I hadn't used my RD800 for a few weeks.

When I turned it on today, instead of the usual boot-up, it went into 'Update mode' and asked for a USB drive. I downloaded the latest version (1.04) of the system onto a USB drive and put that into the RD800.

This seemed to update the RD800 OK ... but when I switched it off, removed the USB drive and switched it on again, it was still in update mode.

I've tried repeating this a few times, I've tried turning on with DEC/INC held down. Nothing works ... it just goes into update mode again.

Any ideas?

my Roland RD 800 won't boot anymore even with message updated successfully from file R055_UPA.BIN. with parts 1/3 2/3 3/3
