Question about RD 300 gx and RD 700 gx

Hi, I'm new on this forum but I have some questions about these products... the first one : Can I install new piano sounds (samples) that I download on the net? To sum up, are these products sampler?? Can I renew my piano sound with VSTi or samples??

Second one: Have they aftertouch???

Third one : Do they share same sound board?? (It means sound engine,I'm not sure) Actually,have they same sounds ; especially pianos and strings?

Hi kiwircik and Welcome to the Clan

1 - No, you cannot add samples to the RD series pianos. You can only add SRX boards to the 700GX.
2 - No, they don't have aftertouch
3 - No, basically the 700GX has a new piano and e.piano wavesforms (The E.Pianos feature SuperNatural Roland technology). The 300GX has the same wavesforms of the 700SX.

well, can I ask a one more question? Which one do you prefer,Fantom x-8 or g-6? I compare them because their prices are similar in my country

I would definitely say X8. But that's just my personal preference since I love weighted keyboards (I have a G8 now). This seems to be your case since you asked for the RD pianos. If you don't mind to loose the extras the G has to offer I think you'll be more then happy with the X.
