Hi, I just have a quick question about waveforms and the RD-700GX.
I recently purchased an SRX-07 expansion board. The sounds are pretty good: the organs I don't really like, and there a lot of sounds I don't think I'll use but hopefully that might change in the future and I'll be happy I got it.
Anyway, I heard the waveforms on this particular expansion board are quite good for making patches. I don't want this to sound like a newbish question, but is there anyway to access this waveforms on the RD-700GX or is that only available on the Fantom?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi dako777
No, the RD series are not intended for editing sounds so you must use one the Junos or Fantoms to achieve that.

Re: RD-700GX and Waveforms
you do actually have a fair amount of control over the patches in the GX but not at the waveform level (i.e. you can't view which waveform is being used.)
So you end up just tweaking filters and envelopes on the patches... but its a pretty good filter in the GX IMHO
