Oh dear, this is because headphones are quite a bit different from the speakers. They are smaller, haven't you noticed? And you put them close to your ears.

Anyways, do you have just one speaker? If so, you are hearing the sound in mono, whilst in headphones it's stereo. You need to have a stereo speaker system for a start.

Hi Raybambam!... 5 speakers??? no my friend, the best sound that you can give on your rd700-300 gx , its using a studio monitors or Reference Monitors, believe me, it was so hard for me to get there, but now i'm usin the M-AUDIO Studiophile BX5a Deluxe....and i can't imagine a better sound!.

That's my recomendation for home!, if you nedd a stage sound, better try whit the roland KC-880 or 550

See U!

I only use my RD-700GX in a small home studio with Mackie HR824mk2 monitors. They do sound quite a bit different from headphones. Both sound very good to me.
