RD 700NX - Can you save settings?

Post by kudzu69 »

I know you can save default patches to the "quick" positions, but I can't figure out how to save any on board edits. Is it possible to save EQ and effects changes to a patch?

yes you can. i dont even use the front panel EQ unless i need to calibrate to the room.

you can select the EQ's and other effects within the patch and program it there. the eq's and other effects be individually programmed per patch (your other patches will be unaffected).

Let me add, kudzu69, that you need to save the edits to a user live set. You can't write to any of the preset live sets.

In order to set the settings of the EQ globally for all LiveSets (e.g. you want to adjust the sound of the instrument to the acoustics of a specific room), you have to set the parameter Menu/0.System/EQ-Mode to "System". If you want to save the EQ-settings with each individual LiveSet you have to set the parameter to "Live Set".
