iPad App - Write button

Has anyone been able to use the write button on the iPad app to actually save anything? I tried saving the assigned favorites or saving live set edits but it looks like the write button doesn't work for either of those functions. What can you "write" with it?

The problem may be that (according to Roland) there is no sysex or midi command to save the temporary live set to a specific live set location. So maybe you just have to press your write button on the keyboard.
This would be similar to the way the Yamaha Motif editing software works, ie they're telling us fibs again....
On the other hand one would expect Rolands own programmers to have ways into the hardware we plebs are not allowed to know.

Come on, Roland, share the info or at least make more of this stuff accessible via midi!
