hi
i've just purchased a new rd800.
i found out that the 3'rd C key (left) sounds a bit diferent from the rest of the keys. its sound is deeper and this increases when the rd800 is conected to speekers. that realy disturbs the natural smooth sound the reviews are talkink about.
has anyone noticed this phenomenon?
thanks

a disturbing key sound
Re: a disturbing key sound
Try changing the 'Character' of just that note in 'Individual Note Voicing' (page 34 of the manual)
Re: a disturbing key sound

dos'nt the factory reset suppose to take care of it?

Speakers, headphones and room acoustics will always alter the sound slightly, which can be picked up by the ear.
That's one of the great things about the RD-800, you can level it out, or alter the character of individual notes, and then save it off as a 'Live Set'.
