Hi folks,
I was wondering, is there a MODULE that exists which is a RACKMOUNT version of the RD700 (or similar) please?
I think that the JAZZ SCAT and a couple of the PIANO's are excellent, but I did not want to actually have to purchase a KEYBOARD model.
I have a ROLAND XV5050 RACKMOUNT which is fine for what it is. However, the PIANO's and JAZZ SCAT presets are not in the same league as those on the RD700. I purchased the XV5050 unwittingly thinking that it would be able to produce the same timbres (as the RD700) based upon the fact that is uses the SRX EXPANSION CARDS, but this is not the case.
Thanks in advance . . .

Re: RE: RD Module Existence?
The Fantom-XR was released a couple of years later, so maybe it has the same sounds. The Integra-7 is much newer, but it has lots of old Roland sounds built in. Basically, I don't have a real answer for you...
This list could be useful, though:

Cheers Torhus,
I don't think the FANTOM XR has as good a PIANO, sounds nor does it have the same JAZZ SCAT from what I remember. Though these two may be on an EXPANSION CARD?
I think the INTEGRA has stuff like the JUNO, JUPITER, JV1080 on?
Ta,
Paul
