How to fully pan RD700

Post by melissamgm »

Hi! When I split the RD700 keyboard and fully pan to each side, there is too much bleed of sound, mostly the bass affecting the keys. I would like to split and pan the bass and keys fully. The sounds guys at shows are complaining that they have to 'ride' my bass to compensate when they increase the keys for solos, etc. Any suggestions to fully separate the two sides of the split/pan so that there is no bleed? This is an issue for live recording, too. Thank you in advance.

Try setting the stereo reverb type to "Off" as set out on p78 of the manual. I had the same issue on my RD700nx and it only worked when I turned off the master effects since they run in stereo.
