Midi CC buttons questions

Hey there! I am trying to use my RD 700 sx in Logic and MainStage. I am trying to use the knobs and buttons to controller a VST. On my nord I am easlly able to program the CC and use the knobs in Logic and MainStage but I can't figure it out with my Roland 700sx. Can Someone please help because I feel like the knobs should be able to transmit a CC to work with any VST in a Daw

The Roland RD-700SX is not designed to be a MIDI controller. I think only the 4 sliders, the connected pedals, and the mod level will send MIDI CC messages. For the 4 sliders, they will only send messages when the external/internal button is lit. If the control/zone-level button is lit, then it will send CC messages on all activated external zones, and the CC numbers can be configured in the settings. If the control/zone-level button is not lit, then it will send CC#7 (volume) on the corresponding zone, and only if it is activated.
