Roland RD-700SX 'Midi Comunnication Error' on screen

Hi, I was recently repairing a Roland RD-700SX, and I noticed that it was not detecting the Damper pedal, after cleaning the ribbon cable contacts the piano detected that the cable was connected, however after that I get an error on the screen: ' Midi Communication Error' as soon as I turn on and start the piano, the only way to make the error go away is to unplug the cable, either from the Main Board or the Jack Board, or both, the error appears as long as both ends are connected.

I clarify that the piano is not connected to any computer, neither by MIDI, nor by USB. I also tried a new cable of the same reference that the service manual specifies and the error continues.

Any ideas what may be causing this, or any solutions? I appreciate any information about it.
