Fantom editor easily saves everything, why can't keyboard?

In my current setup, the Fantom G is acting as a sound module.

I can control all its parameters in Studio mode using the standalone editor on PC.
When I am finished, I simply hit SAVE in the editor and I can recall everything next time I open the file.
This includes any tone changes and anything else on the patch edit pages.
I don't need to create any user patches on the Fantom G to achieve correct recall.

However, it seems there is no similarly easy process when working directly on the keyboard. If I want correct save/recall of edited patches in a Studio Set, I have to save user patches for every single one?

Am I missing something? Is there a parallel way to easily save everything in a Studio Set on the keyboard (without having to create numerous user patches per Studio Set)?
