Chord Memory, how to use the Pads with it?

Hi. I am dumb. I don't understand how to use this feature.
When I activate Chord Memory and press a note a preselected chord is being strummed on my Fantom G7 v1.50
I can use the Pad Mode button to bring the Pads into Chord Memory mode and can select between 5 different sets of Chords mapped to the Pads. Sadly this dosn't change shit. I have watched the Tutorial videos and RTFM, but it dosn't click.
I would like to program some chords for a LIVE Set and save them and the Pads with that LIVE Set.
When I press a Pad and then a note, that chord with that base note should be played.
If I program a Cm7 to a Pad, I expect Am7 to be played, when I hit A on the keybed.
How do I do this, if possible?

Answering my own question. Thx to Dan Krishers YT video from 15 years ago, I now mastered this function! 😂😅
