It it obvious from the information so far available that the main point of the Fantom update is usability in everday live and studio work.
Nevertheless it is certainly not unimportant how the thing sounds.
1. How is the overall sonic impression of the sound engine?
I ask because each new sound engine provides a certain basic sound, wanted or unwanted, independent of the different patches.
I would like to hear some mp3s of the new G.
2. How much old wave material, how much SRX material and how much new material in rough percentage?
3. Concrete sounds:
- Does it have SRX-12 Rhodes sounds?
- SRX-01 drum samples?
- SRX 07 organs, pads, synths?
etc.
Perhaps some of this questions can't yet be answered, simply because Namm 2008 showed a very early version of the device and Roland is still not sure themselves?
However, any sound demo will help to get an impression.
Any Fantom G sound demos???
