ARX-04 SuperNATURAL Organs

Post by lang1977 »

So lets here it...Anyone thinks Roland would release an ARX-03 Super NATURAL Organs board. Quite frankly i'm looking foward to a board like that. I only have one really useable organ on my X7...

I can totally see that. Both modeling and complex wavetabling allow for drawbar emulation. Here's hoping...

Make the ARX-03 World & Ethnic

Post by shakil »

I wish they make the ARX-03 for World and Ethnic isntruments , including world drums and percussions, since they left out world drums from ARX-01!!!!!

Roland should add the sounds that aren't present in Fantom G, don't just marginally improve the existing sounds.

You can have only two ARXs installed. So, the more diverse the better.

I hope the Fantom G already has some kind of organ mode,
but if it does not, I'm sure they will come out with a board for it.

I hope there are at least a slew of great organ patches onboard.

I hope Solitary Man is right. ARX-03 = analog modeling. Please, we have enough organs. And the world/ethno thing. Easily covered with straight samples. I say...

ARX-03 - analog modelling
ARX-04 - guitar and bass (and I mean kick-butt all the way)
ARX-05 - symphony orchestra
ARX-06 - Organ (Okay, you guys can have it then)
ARX-07 - World/Ethno (Okay, you guys can have it then)

The thing is with these ARX boards is that everyone wants different things for their own needs, id personally want a strings/orchestra board first and formost and then an analogue synth board.

However, perhaps the on boards strings patches will be such an improvement over the Xs fairly dire string sounds that the need for a strings ARX will be eradicated. Somehow I fear this will be wishful thinking.

ARX V-synth- now that would be cool
or maybe a "Atmosphere/Omnisphere" card with voices- would love that
and Organ- yeah would love a real good B3 emu.

hey i like the japanese babe...is she related to the founder of roland i wonder?

anyway, what really sucks (besides no support for multisampling) is that there are only 2 expansion slots?!! what gives? i want so many diverse sounds from modeling: i want analog modeling, guitar modeling, strings, wind instruments, ethnic stuff...i mean come on dudes! 2 arx slots? that's ALMOST like juno-g and fantom-xa. how about 4 or 6 slots for arx? or will you guys at roland include an expansion rack that is strictly for arx expansion (without anything else?) come on roland, think! i am your loyal fan, so please don't let me and others down!

(i hope multisampling has a way around it, because i use a lot of akai libraries on my triton keyboard...if fantom-g doesn't support multisampling or if there is no work around, i won't be buying it).

ARX-03 will be called Infinity. It will install a Fantom-G inside Fantom-G. So you can have Fantom-G inside a Fantom-G, and there will be a Fantom-G inside that Fantom-G..... .... infinity. Makes everyone happy!
