I figured this would be a great tool, that way if people live close to each other... They can help one another out with the board locally. It is always easier to learn hands on.

Is that breakdown based on self-identification by forum members or the location from which they appear to be accessing the site?

Usually, self-identification suggests that Afghanistan is the most online country in the world as everyone who doesn't complete that part of the registration form gets recorded as being from there, simply because it's usually the first nation on the list.

Thats cool info, but it doesnt really break it down by state... at least in the USA. It would be cool to know who is close to one another, so as to start a more localized support group. Sort of a meeting or melding of the minds in the Roland community.

thextreme1, you have a very good point. How about having a few locations in the world where people of the Clan could gather up once in a while for sharing knowledge? That would be totally cool.

Well I know you like to keep the Forum layout clean ( and I love it for it) and you see the member location on the member profile. But maybe you could add some more info displayed on the forum just below the member name. I believe there are maybe 1 or 2 empty lines there.
